We are seeking an experienced and compassionate physician to serve as Site Medical Director at Hancock State Prison in Sparta, Georgia. This is an exceptional physician leadership opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about improving patient outcomes, leading medical operations, and driving clinical excellence. As Site Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to shape medical care delivery, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and make a meaningful impact on an underserved patient population. - vision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.

Key Responsibilities
The Medical Director provides clinical direction and supervision for medical staff while collaborating with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient care delivery. They also participate in quality improvement, infection control, and pharmacy committees to maintain clinical excellence.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school and possess an active, unrestricted Georgia state medical license. Additionally, applicants must have or be able to obtain active DEA registration and pass a credentialing and background check.
