Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Greenwood Urgent Care location. This role offers a schedule of 3x10 to 12 hour shifts per week, with an every-third-weekend rotation and some holiday coverage. Operating hours for the clinic are Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM

  • 8:15 PM and Saturday & Sunday from 7:45 AM - 6:15 PM. Those with 2+ years of professional experience are strongly encouraged to apply!

Job Description

Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols.

Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education.

Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.

  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
  • Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
  • Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
  • Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.

Requirements

Requires 0–3 years of relevant experience, Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association, and either active ARRT Radiography registration or recent graduation from an approved radiologic technology program with board eligibility. Candidates must hold a current Indiana radiologic technologist license or student permit; board-eligible hires must obtain their Radiography credential within six months.
