Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, Outpatient and Inpatient Supervisor, organizes and performs medically prescribed PT programs and participates in educational duties inherent to the position. Responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science or Advanced Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts

The Physical Therapist is responsible for organizing and performing medically prescribed physical therapy programs for both inpatient and outpatient settings. They must also manage unit supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork within the healthcare environment.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science or an advanced degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university. A current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts is required.
