Castro Valley
University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to join our clinics in Castro Valley.
Position Details (Castro Valley)
- Full-time is 36 patient contact hours
- Community-based practice; general hematology/oncology
- Physician sees an average of 18 patients per day in the outpatient clinic
- Fifteen (15) Infusion chairs on-site
- Shared Call Schedule – 1:5
- Inpatient rounds at Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital, Eden Medical Center
- On call for hospitalized UHA patients only; hospitalists on-site at two hospitals
- Approximately 1-4 new inpatient consults per call day, on average
- Clinic location consists of 6 providers (3 Medical Oncologists, 3 APPs, 6 Nurses)
- Robust ancillary support staff
- Access to specialists on-site, such as Radiation Oncologists, Gyn/Onc, UroGyn, and others
- Clinical Advice Services (CAS) triage for after-hours phone calls, NP/PA support with in-basket work

Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Hematology/Oncology. The role requires an on-site presence in Castro Valley and the ability to work collaboratively within a multispecialty medical group.
