Job Description
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus
Responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Sciences and Disorders

Experience
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Speech Language Pathologist Level II.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Competency in performing Modified Barium Swallow Exams
Certifications
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NEW GRADUATES: Possession of Intern License from the state of Texas prior to orientation. ALL OTHERS: Possession of Texas State License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e. g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
