Join Maryland Works as a Community Development Counselor – M-F, No Weekends in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States. Key Responsibilities
The counselor provides direct-care and person-centered instruction to help consumers develop daily living, social, and community skills. Responsibilities include monitoring client progress, documenting activities, managing behavioral needs, and transporting consumers to various activities.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. A valid driver's license with no more than 3 points and access to a personal vehicle are required.
