Physical therapists plan and execute rehabilitation programs, including therapeutic exercise and gait training, to help patients improve physical function. They are also responsible for documenting patient progress, developing plans of care, and supervising physical therapy assistants.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and be a licensed physical therapist in the state of Illinois. A BLS or CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire.
