Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist provides cardiopulmonary care services under supervision, performing treatments, setting up and monitoring mechanical ventilators, and managing critical care duties like airway management and suctioning. They are also responsible for obtaining arterial blood samples, performing EKGs, and documenting all pertinent patient data.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy and hold current GA Respiratory Therapist Licensure, along with NBRC certification. Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
