Key Responsibilities

The Certified Nurse Midwife provides independent obstetrical care, including labor management, delivery, and postpartum support in a hospital setting. They are responsible for performing physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master of Science degree in Nursing and be a graduate of an ACNM-accredited midwifery program. Current Oregon RN and NP-PP licensure, along with AMCB certification and at least one year of professional experience, are required.
