Job Description
Will participate in the operations of an out-patient physical therapy clinic including patient care, functional abilities testing (“lifts”), administration, confidential medical record management and office maintenance/cleaning.
Pay rate: $56.00/hour
Must be available some Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8am to 5pm
Essential Duties
- Patient care will include evaluations and assessments as per the State Physical Therapy Practice Act, determining a plan of care, supervising ancillary staff, and medical charting.
- Lift/fit testing will include on-site essential job function assessments and the development and supervision of an objective and unbiased test of a person’s ability to safely complete those tasks with proper mechanics.
- Administrative responsibilities will include patient and provider scheduling, copying, faxing, typing/computer use, phone work, and referral management.
- Medical record management will include insuring confidentiality under HIPAA law, insurance authorizations, and filing.
- Office maintenance and cleaning will include table surface disinfecting, exercise and modality equipment care, and supply inventory and stocking.
Education And/or Experience Requirements
- Certificate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current State PT license
- Current CPR documentation

The physical therapist will provide patient care, including evaluations, assessments, and the development of treatment plans. Additionally, they will manage administrative tasks, medical records, and maintain the clinic's equipment and supplies.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a certificate from an accredited physical therapy program and possess a current state PT license. Current CPR documentation is also required for this position.
