Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough resident assessments including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including wound care and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure and certification in the state of Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrated experience in resident care, including vital signs monitoring and wound care.
