Our Behavioral Health Department is committed to delivering patient‑centered, evidence‑based care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult behavioral health patients.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and follow‑up care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
• Provide coverage on a PRN basis, including potential weekends, evenings, or holidays depending on department needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Massachusetts APRN license with prescriptive authority.
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC).
• Minimum 1–2 years of psychiatric clinical experience preferred; inpatient experience strongly valued.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
