Key Responsibilities
The Speech & Language Pathologist plans and delivers therapy sessions to students while serving as an active member of IEP teams. They are responsible for implementing IEP goals, maintaining AAC devices, and collaborating with staff to promote functional communication.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess an Illinois state license. Additionally, an Illinois Professional Educator’s License with an SLP endorsement and ASHA certification are required.
