Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, neuromuscular re-education, functional mobility training, and therapeutic modalities as delegated.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Accurately document treatments, patient progress, and responses according to departmental, regulatory, and payer.

Licensure & Certifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with a current Maine PTA license and BLS certification. Previous experience in acute or outpatient care is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
