Position Highlights
Position Summary
Responsible for the knowledge and capabilities to perform radiographic procedures and to assist physicians and Radiologist with image modalities listed in the Radiology Procedures Manual. Responsible in the participation of (call) support and must be able to perform general radiographic and additional modalities such as CT and Dexa, scan procedures independently while exercising professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
Position Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Graduate of an AMA Accredited Radiography Program with ARRT or ARCRT.
Permit to practice from the State of Iowa.
BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for performing radiographic procedures and assisting physicians and Radiologists with imaging modalities. Participation in call support and performing general radiographic and additional modalities independently is required.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with graduation from an AMA Accredited Radiography Program and ARRT or ARCRT certification. A permit to practice from the State of Iowa and BLS certification within three months of employment are also necessary.
