Key Responsibilities

The Addiction Counselor will serve as the primary counselor for adult clients, working with them to establish treatment goals and facilitate recovery-focused group and individual sessions. Essential duties include conducting various counseling sessions, completing psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans, and managing primary case management responsibilities for designated clients.

Requirements

Candidates must possess either a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an Associate's degree plus a tCADC/CADC certification, along with minimum licensure (tCADC/CADC, LBSW, LMSW, tLMHC/LMHC) or the ability to obtain it within six months. Strong communication skills, familiarity with EHR systems, and proficiency in conducting various counseling formats are required.
