Key Responsibilities
The Speech Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in adult patients. They also provide aural rehabilitation and implement augmentative and alternative communication systems for patients with severe communication needs.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered state license to practice speech pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). A current CPR certification is required, and one or more years of experience in speech pathology is preferred.
