Job Description

• GENERAL OVERVIEW:
• Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients. (70%)
• Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients. (10%)

Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e. g. treatment plans, progress notes). (10%)

• Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings. (10%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

• Minimum
• Master's degree in a relevant field

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license

• Preferred
• Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance
• Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting

Additional Employment Requirements

• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
