Physician Associate - Emergency Medicine - Mount Sinai Queens - Per Diem Days

The Physician Associate is responsible for direct patient care under the supervision of a physician, involving critical thinking, diagnosis, ordering medications and diagnostics, and performing therapeutic measures across inpatient, surgical, and outpatient settings. This role also requires assuming medical staff privileging based on the scope determined by the Mount Sinai Health System and the department of hire.

Candidates must possess clinical expertise in the specialty of hire, requiring greater than two years of experience, and demonstrate leadership and management attributes for the Senior PA position. The role involves performing a broad spectrum of care, including diagnosis and ordering of treatments, under the scope of practice delegated by a physician.
