Key Responsibilities
- Teaching The faculty member will participate in the education of dermatology and pathology residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Responsibilities include leading dermatopathology teaching sessions, supervising trainees during slide reviews, and contributing to departmental Grand Rounds and other academic forums.
- Research The faculty member is encouraged to engage in scholarly activities, including clinical or translational research in dermatopathology.
- Participation in collaborative research projects and publication in peer-reviewed journals is expected.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatopathology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
- Experience in an academic medical center, including teaching residents and medical students
