The Opportunity
- Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
- Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
The Practice
- Pomona Valley Hospital – Pomona, California
- An acute care, not-for-profit, teaching hospital.
- Level II Trauma Center that functions like Level I.
- 412-bed facility with a 72-bed Emergency Department.
- Annual patient volume of approximately 97,000 with a 17-20% admit rate.
- Vituity Scribe support available.
The ED is a Paramedic Receiving Center with Chest Pain and Stroke Center Designations as well as Emergency Department Accepting Pediatrics (EDAP).

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked.
In addition, Vituity physicians participate in our partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients within a 72-bed Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center. Collaborate with an integrated healthcare team to ensure patient safety and contribute to the hospital's culture of brilliance.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Possession of a current California state medical license is considered a plus.
