POSITION SUMMARY: This is a professional position involving provision of direct patient care including medication management and therapeutic duties. Although most activities are performed independently, clinical oversight is provided by Physicians, Site Medical Director, Corporate Director of Psychiatry and/or Vice President of Clinical Affairs.

The Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides direct patient care, including medication management and therapeutic interventions. The role involves working independently while maintaining clinical oversight from physicians and medical directors.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a master's or doctorate degree in nursing and be board-certified as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. A valid New Mexico license, DEA registration, and controlled substance registration are required upon hire.
