The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Physiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a diverse clinical opportunity offering exposure across inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient consultation, outpatient care, and electrodiagnostic medicine, with opportunities to participate in medical education, research, and quality improvement. Opportunity Details: Practice at a Level I Trauma Center and Burn Unit. Provide care on a 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation service. Participate in the inpatient rehabilitation consultation service. Provide outpatient rehabilitation and EMG/NCS services at North Central Bronx and Jacobi. Engage in academic teaching, including medical student and resident education and training. Opportunities to participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Board Certification or Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Active or eligible for a New York State medical license Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $241,000* (board eligible); $246,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $360,620
