Job Description
The Creekside School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students with moderate to severe developmental disabilities. This is a full-time position working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
What You’LL Do
- Provide speech-language therapy services as directed by the SLP
- Support students in developing communication, social, and life skills
- Implement IEP goals and track student progress through accurate data collection
- Use AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) and other evidence-based strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, behavior staff, and families to support student success
- Help create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
What We’RE Looking For
- Valid California SLPA license
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders, Education, Psychology, or related field
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with AAC systems and working with non-verbal students
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Requirements
