Primary Care Physician

Join Adelphi Staffing as a Primary Care Physician in Abilene, Texas. Adelphi is seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician for a full-time, short-term assignment (minimum 3 months) in Taylor County, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide primary care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and complete required medical assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 35–45 patients, typically ≤10 per day.

• Provide medical care for acute illness, injury, follow-up, and ongoing primary care.

• Conduct clinics and complete annual and interval medical assessments.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

• Current Texas medical license in good standing with no history of sanctions.

• Active DEA, NPI, and CPR/BLS certifications.

• Ability to meet all agency and facility requirements prior to start.

Work Schedule

• Contract position.

• Call responsibilities required.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
