A well-established senior living community in Shelbyville, Kentucky is seeking an energetic and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join its Therapy Team
This is an outstanding opportunity for a PRN Physical Therapist who enjoys helping seniors regain strength, improve mobility, and maximize their independence while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
Position Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs
Provide high-quality physical therapy services focused on strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Promote the highest level of resident-centered care
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Passion for working with the senior population
- Positive, collaborative, and patient-focused approach
- Long-term care or senior living experience preferred, but not required
