Adjunct/Part-Time Instructor - Clinical Dentist (2026-2027 Annual Pool)

Qualifications

PREREQUISITES FOR POSITION (Qualification Standards)

Education or training

Must be a graduate of dental hygiene programs that are a Commission on Dental Accreditation dental school and possess a license to practice dentistry in the State of Florida.

A DMD/DDS or equivalent degree from CODA accredited program.

• Education must be received from a regionally accredited institution.

Years of experience in field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field is required.

HARD SKILLS: Operate medical equipment, diagnose patients, and form treatment plans.

SOFT SKILLS: Ability to work effectively, ethically, and patiently with other professionals, students, and patients while providing high-quality care.

These transcripts should indicate the degree or certificate you were awarded at the completion of the training applicable to the position you’re applying for.

If, for example, you were applying to be an instructor in the EMS program, and you had an AS Degree in that field, we’d need a transcript that showed that you received an AS Degree related to EMS. Thank You.

Commitment to the college objective of providing instruction for a diverse student population. Excellent interpersonal, oral communication and writing skills. Knowledge of learning and assessment theories and methods and the relationship to the pedagogy of teaching. Possess a high level of technical skills and subject matter knowledge as it relates to a specific discipline.
