Substance Use Counselor In-Training

Key Responsibilities

The Substance Use Counselor In-Training provides outpatient counseling, conducts psychosocial assessments, and develops individualized treatment plans for patients with substance use and mental health conditions. They also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work and possess a valid Wisconsin in-training license (APSW or LPC-IT) or full licensure (LCSW or LPC). Additionally, a substance use specialty certification (SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC) is required.
