Part-Time Optometrist (OD) | $1,100 Per Visit | 2–3 Days/Month Location: Alexandria, LA Compensation: $1,100 per visit Schedule: 2–3 weekdays per month Hours: Approximately 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Add Meaningful Clinical Work to Your Schedule — Without the Practice Headaches Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Louisiana-licensed Optometrist to provide care 2–3 days per month at an established outpatient clinic in Alexandria, LA.

This is a great opportunity for an OD looking to supplement an existing practice, build additional monthly income, or enjoy meaningful patient care without taking on another full-time commitment.

At $1,100 per visit, this opportunity can add $2,200–$3,300 in monthly income while requiring only a few weekdays each month. CMC handles the operational side of the clinic so you can focus on what you do best: seeing patients and providing excellent care.

This is not a retail or high-volume optometry environment. Our providers work within a coordinated care model where the emphasis is on thorough, patient-centered care rather than rushing from one appointment to the next.

CMC coordinates the equipment, supplies, scheduling, and administrative logistics needed for your visits, allowing you to walk in, provide care, and leave the operational work to us.

What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice Prescribe corrective lenses and make appropriate treatment recommendations Document patient encounters appropriately Communicate recommendations with the clinic’s care team Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to an aging population What We’re Looking For Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program Active and unrestricted Louisiana Optometry License Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Dependable and comfortable working independently Experience with senior or medically complex populations is helpful, but not required About Comprehensive Mobile Care Comprehensive Mobile Care has been expanding access to specialty healthcare for more than 25 years.
