Job Description

A Day in the Life

As an Occupational Therapist in our Inpatient Rehab and Acute Care Units at Munson Medical Center, you will be a critical part of making a difference in the lives of our patients. We are partnered with Mary Free Bed, so rest assured we provide the best to our employees so they can give the best to our patients.

You will accurately administer appropriate evaluation tools based on diagnoses and age of each patient served. You will then develop a treatment plan for each patient that reflects results of the evaluation and makes recommendations for treatment.

Along with providing quality treatment to our patients, you will keep medical records up to date, complete and in accordance with department and hospital guidelines for patients served.

You will be part of a great team! You will work closely in department and interdepartmental efforts to improve process and clinical treatment.

Qualifications

What’s Required

• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Certification in Occupational Therapy (Current registration held by the National Board for Certification or eligibility for immediate registration)
• Registered State of Michigan Occupational Therapist
