• $65,000–$75,000/year Credential Based: QMHP (Master’s degree; no independent license), LPHA (LCSW or LCPC). Final compensation is determined by credential level and relevant experience. Bridgeway, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate clinician to fill the role of Outpatient Therapist (Co-Occurring Specialty) within our Behavioral Health Services Division. This position provides integrated mental health and substance use disorder treatment services to individuals and families presenting with co-occurring conditions and is an integral part of our CCBHC outpatient continuum. Bridgeway, Inc. is a comprehensive human services organization and a federally designated Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving individuals and families across Knox, Warren, Henderson, and Henry Counties in west-central Illinois. As a CCBHC, Bridgeway operates at the leading edge of integrated behavioral health — delivering person-centered, recovery-oriented care across a full continuum that includes outpatient therapy, crisis services, substance use treatment, psychiatric services, and community support. The Outpatient Therapist (Co-Occurring Specialty) applies evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ASAM Criteria, and person-centered treatment planning to serve a population navigating the intersection of mental health and substance use challenges. This role operates within an interdisciplinary team environment that values clinical excellence, collaborative practice, and continuous professional development. What You’ll Do Deliver integrated mental health and SUD treatment — individual, group, family, and case management — using evidence-based, person-centered approaches. Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments using ASAM Criteria to guide level-of-care and placement decisions. Develop and update individualized treatment plans addressing co-occurring diagnoses with measurable, recovery-oriented goals. Provide DUI Evaluations and Risk Education classes if credentialed and trained. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation consistent with CCBHC, Rule 132, and CARF standards. Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, peer specialists, and community partners. Provide crisis assessment and safety planning, including backup coverage for the Emergency Services Team as needed. Meet productivity expectations while maintaining the highest standards of clinical quality and consumer dignity. What You Bring Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Active independent clinical licensure in Illinois (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT) required, or obtainable within a mutually agreed timeframe. Demonstrated knowledge of co-occurring disorders, ASAM Criteria, and integrated treatment approaches. Experience in a community mental health, CCBHC, or substance use treatment setting is strongly preferred. CADC or equivalent SUD credentialing is a plus. Strong clinical documentation skills and a collaborative practice orientation. Valid Illinois driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
