The occupational therapist will create and implement session plans, conduct individual and small-group therapy, and monitor student progress toward IEP goals. They will also provide consultations for students in general and special education settings and complete necessary student evaluations.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree for the OT role or an Associate's degree for the OTA role, along with appropriate Massachusetts licensure and NBCOT certification. Experience with school-based occupational therapy, IEPs, and 504 plans is required, as is a commitment to student achievement and cultural competency.
