Physical Therapist

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Evaluates, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual
patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy.
Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient
assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care
planning/implementation. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with
clinical competency, as applicable. Completes established competencies for the
position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as
assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No previous work experience necessary. 
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years as a practicing PT in a healthcare setting
(outpatient and inpatient 
care), as well as marketing and business familiarity. Spanish Proficiency
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NEW GRADUATES: Possession of current Texas
State license 
prior to orientation. ALL OTHERS: Possession of current Texas State license.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: See Preferred Certification Listing
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e. g., CPR): Must have active American Heart
Association (AHA) healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire.
