About the Role

Join Mayo Clinic as a Physician Assistant – Plastic Surgery in United States. Physician Assistants (PAs) in the Division of Plastic Surgery on the Phoenix campus work within care teams comprised of both physicians and NP/PAs working collaboratively. In a care team model, PAs are partnered with individual physicians to support patient care needs of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Within the outpatient clinical setting, PAs perform patient outpatient visits with direct and indirect supervision and may be involved in independent outpatient procedures.
  • Additionally, the PA team interacts and partners with residents and is actively engaged in educational activities with rotating medical, nursing, and NP/PA students.
  • During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification and registration with the AZ State Board of Medical Practice. Active BLS, ACLS certification from AHA or ARC, and DEA registration are required at the start date.
