Join Spectrum Youth and Family Services as a Low Barrier and Intake Counselor in Burlington, Vermont. Join our Riverstone Counseling, Spectrum Youth & Family Services outpatient counseling program, as a Low Barrier and Intake Counselor. This dynamic role integrates clinical counseling, program intake, and youth service coordination across multiple Spectrum programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Screening, Intake & Referral Coordination.
- Receive, review, track, and coordinate referrals with Riverstone and school partners.
- Create and maintain youth profiles in the electronic record systems.
- Communicate with referral sources.
Requirements
- Independent licensure (LCMHC, LICSW, LADC).
- Training in evidence-based practices (MI, CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, CAMS, etc.).
- Working Environment.
- Office and community settings including drop-in centers, schools or other community settings. Requires sitting, standing, lifting up to 10 lbs, and local travel.
