Key Responsibilities
The APP will provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing management for patients on an acute inpatient unit while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities also include assisting with emergency department consultations and maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and possess a Master's degree from an accredited program. Prior experience in psychiatry or behavioral health is preferred, along with strong clinical and teamwork skills.
