Job Description
This position is located in OKC/ Norman area.
Under clinical supervision and within agency policy and clinical standards,
therapists will engage with their multidisciplinary team to provide group and
individual counseling and therapy services in a culturally sensitive way
producing optimal outcome to a designated population, with a multiplicity of
problems. Services include but are not limited to: assessment & diagnosis,
treatment planning, individual, couple, child, family therapy, group therapy
and, crisis intervention. Services are predominantly delivered to an adult
population who carry a serious mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring
and/or medically co-morbid diagnosis.
Position Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and/or ongoing clinical assessments utilizing established
- Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients.
- Provide individual and/or group-based therapy to deliver therapeutic
- Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments
- Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment
- Record and maintain adequate notes about client visits and submit completed
- When required, refer clients to outside sources or agencies that can better
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every client situation.
- Provide Crisis intervention as needed.

Education
- Master's Degree in related field is required

Safety Sensitive Job Classification
This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the
Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the
“safety-sensitive” classification, an employee in this position would be subject
to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the
substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical
marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the
consequences of testing positive for marijuana per the Family & Children’s
Services Drug Free Workplace Policy, including possible revocation of a job
offer or dismissal from employment.
