Speech-Language Pathologist

Join Origami Rehabilitation as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Mason, Michigan. Origami Rehabilitation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Origami provides comprehensive rehabilitation for children and adults with neurological, developmental, mental health, and orthopedic conditions through their residential and outpatient programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Model appropriate behavior conducive to a positive working and therapeutic environment.

• Observe all rules of confidentiality as they pertain to program participants internally, and in working with outside individuals and/or agencies.

• Proactively initiate and follow-through with tasks utilizing appropriate problem- solving techniques to facilitate communication flow and prompt resolutions.

• Promote positive morale among peers by modeling and encouraging effective teamwork and communication.

Requirements

• Possess a valid State Driver’s License or ability to plan and provide transportation as required.

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Possess a valid Speech-Language Pathology License in the State of Michigan.

• Certification as a Brain Injury Specialist (provided by Origami).
