DESCRIPTION
TeamHealth has a great new opportunity in Paris, Texas! TeamHealth currently has
an opening for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in emergency
medicine or board-certified in family medicine with EM experience to join our
free-standing emergency department within 2 hours of the Dallas-Ft. Worth metro
area.
This position offers competitive compensation. In addition, you will work along
highly-trained and experienced peers.
Position Overview
* Average 40-50 patients per 24 hour shift
* 24 hours of physician coverage
* 10 hours daily APC coverage Sunday to Wednesday
* State-of-the-art equipment including ultrasounds, X-rays, and CT
* 1099 status

Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency medical care to patients in a free-standing emergency department setting. Collaborate with highly-trained peers to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements
Must be board-eligible or board-certified in emergency medicine, or board-certified in family medicine with relevant emergency medicine experience. The role requires the ability to manage high patient volumes in a fast-paced environment.
