About the Role
Join Unknown as a CHHA Occupational Therapist (OT) for Manhattan area in United States. The New Jewish Home Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) provides home based care and rehabilitation therapy for patients recovering from an acute episode or other adverse health event. The New Jewish Home has long experience delivering rehabilitation and home care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilizes varied solutions to educate and promote the health and independence of each patient.
- Observes signs and symptoms of patients, reports to the physician and/or other appropriate staff as often as needed or as change in the patients’ condition requires.
- Completes OASIS assessments timely, accurately and according to OASIS user’s manual definitions. Completes all documentation, patient health status reports as required and forwards appropriately.
- Supervises occupational therapy assistant according to state regulations and agency policy.
