The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for maintaining order and security within the facility, monitoring clients, assisting with their needs, and modeling recovery principles and prosocial behavior. Key duties include logging activities, supervising chores, facilitating recreation, conducting substance testing, and documenting incidents.
Applicants must be able to maintain an orderly atmosphere, treat residents equitably, and work independently, while also being assertive and coping effectively in crisis situations. If the applicant has a history of substance use, a minimum of two years of continuous sobriety, actively working a recovery program, is required.
