Emplify Health by Gundersen has an exciting new opportunity to add a fulltime Speech-Language Pathologist to our team. This position will be split between our Winona Campus (3 days a week) and Wabasha Clinic (2 days a week) working with both pediatric and adult patients. Must be willing to commute/travel between locations. Upcoming and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
What You'll Do
As a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) you will evaluate and assess adult and pediatric individuals who have medical problems or other health related conditions impacting language, motor speech, cognition, right hemisphere dysfunction, basic voice, and dysphagia. In coordination with the referring provider and other clinical staff, you will develop a plan of care and provide treatment techniques and interventions to restore and improve function in alignment with American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Scope of Practice. have access to a large department of speech pathologist at the Gundersen La Crosse location.
Primary responsibilities would include providing evaluation and treatment services to:
Adults and pediatric patients with communication, cognition, and/or swallowing difficulties in an outpatient setting located at the Gundersen Clinic in Winona, MN three days a week.

What's Available
- Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
- Monday – Friday day shifts, no weekends or holidays
- Starting salary of $79,800, commensurate with your years of work experience
What You'll Need
- Master's degree in Communicative Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology
- Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Minnesota
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology within 18 months of hire
- Current BLS for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Competency with tests/protocols for language impairment, motor speech disorders, cognitive impairment, right hemisphere dysfunction, basic voice disorders, augmentative communication, and dysphagia
Skill in serving patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurogenic diseases/disorders is required
Ideal candidate would have training and experience with pediatric patients and Video fluoroscopic swallow study training/experience
Must be credentialed with Emplify Health prior to starting

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Communicative Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology and possess a Minnesota state license. ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence and BLS certification are required, with preference for experience in pediatric care and swallow studies.
