Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques

Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation

  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
  • Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach

Position Requirements

  • Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Pay Range

USD $40.00 - USD $47.00 /Hr.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication or cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques. Coordinate with a clinical team to develop and implement individualized treatment programs for senior residents.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree from an accredited speech-language pathology graduate program. Must hold or be able to obtain a current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
