Surgical Oncology - Physician - Des Moines - $150,000 Bonus

Key Responsibilities

The physician will join an established team to expand the statewide cancer service line, focusing on surgical oncology in central Iowa and the tertiary service area. Responsibilities include performing solid tumor surgery, cytoreduction with HIPEC, major GI resections, thyroid/parathyroidectomy, Whipple procedures, and wide local excisions using advanced robotic platforms.

Requirements

Candidates must be fellowship-trained and board-certified Surgical Oncologists eager to support innovation and service line expansion. The role involves clinical practice with dedicated clinic time and opportunities for teaching General Surgery Residents.
