The Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and treat patients in the NICU, including ordering diagnostic tests and prescribing medication. They will also collaborate with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive plans of care while maintaining patient records and fostering continuity of care.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing and a current New York State Nurse Practitioner license. National Board Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing and relevant life support certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
