Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to join a premier, innovative, and rapidly growing physician group in San Francisco. This is an outstanding opportunity for a collaborative clinician-leader to help shape the future of gynecologic cancer care, partnering with service line leadership to expand innovative therapies, elevate wraparound support services, and help guide development of a new, leading-edge cancer center in the city.

New Cancer Center Development: Leadership Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to help shape a new cancer center currently in development in San Francisco. The incoming Gynecologic Oncologist leader will partner with health system and service line stakeholders to define a cutting-edge gynecologic oncology vision, including clinical pathways and quality standards, multidisciplinary care design, program growth strategy, and integration of emerging therapies, clinical research opportunities, and patient support services.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology

Eligible for Unrestricted Medical Licensure in California

Established clinical expertise in gynecologic oncology, including complex surgical care and multidisciplinary cancer treatment

Demonstrated interest or experience in program building, service line development, clinical operations, quality improvement, or cancer center growth

Ability to partner effectively with health system leaders, physician colleagues, operational teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders

Experience in clinical research, clinical trials, academic collaboration, or development of evidence-based care pathways preferred

• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, equitable, high-quality care
