Job Description

Senior Radiation Therapist at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Responsible for assisting the manager by ensuring adequate flow of patient care through the Radiation Oncology department. Identifies and solves patient problems, contributes to self-development and leadership by teaching and supervising co-workers and students.

This position requires the ability to interact with other departments within the Cancer Center. Collaborates with others and seeks direction from supervisor or others as needed. Assumes complete responsibility and accountability with little supervision required.

Required Qualifications

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
  • Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification.
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy.
  • 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a fast paced Radiation Oncology department.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
