Job Description
Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking LTC OT for a travel/contract position in St Charles, MO. We are accepting both local and travelers candidates.
Position Details
- Position Name: Occupational Therapist (OT) LTC
- Location: Saint Charles, Missouri

- Pay Rate: $2400 to $2480 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hr work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
- Unit: LTC, Rehab
- Shifts available: Days
- Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, Mon-Fri
Position Requirements
- Occupational Therapist: 1-2 years - Required
- Recent/Current LTC or Rehab OT experience: Required
Education, License and Certification Requirements
- OT License for State applying or Compact if applicable - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description
- Provides all aspects of Occupational Therapy services to the assigned case load
- Maintains timely and accurate patient records and reports
- Supervise Assistant / Aide staff as guided by governing board.
- Designs and fabricates splints as specified by doctors' prescriptions.
- Designs and administers treatment programs to increase patients' (residents) levels of functioning.
- Uses therapeutic exercises and activities to improve or maintain strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination.
- All other duties within scope and practice as assigned
- Must be willing to float to a facility nearby
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to an assigned caseload and design treatment programs to improve patient functioning. Responsibilities include fabricating splints, supervising assistant staff, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Requirements
Requires 1-2 years of experience with recent background in LTC or Rehab OT. Candidates must possess a valid state OT license and BLS certification from the AHA.
