Physician Assistant-Orthopedic Surgery (Part Time)

Key Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant performs technical procedures for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation, while also participating in performance improvement, research, and educational activities. Key duties include taking histories, performing exams, writing orders, interpreting results, conferring with physicians, and managing discharge summaries and patient instructions.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree and be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA). Required credentials include current licensure by the New York State Department of Education, NCCPA Certification, and current BLS certification.
