About the Role

Join Independence Health System as a Neurology Physician – Outpatient, On-Call Required in United States. Independence Health Physician Practices has an exciting opportunity for a Physician- Neurology in Westmoreland County. The Physician, Neurologist, examines, diagnoses and treats outpatient patients.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the interviewing and selection of prospective candidates for Neurology.

Attend assigned medical group conference and meetings upon requests.

Communicate with patients’ primary care physicians to maintain continuity and quality of care

Prescribe medications or treatment regimens as appropriate

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Four (4) to seven (7) years of internship and residency training, pertaining to neurological specialties.

Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.

Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience. Preferred Qualifications/Experience
